First, I have been a Realtor® since 1999 and have helped many clients move in and out of central Illinois. What I have learned is you need to have a trusted source of information and help in the city you are leaving and the city you are moving to - when you have both sides covered, your move goes so much smoother. When you are in one location, and need help in another - you have a resource ready.
What I want to do is to help you find that trusted source- a Realtor®- in your NEW city or town. You don't have to be starting in the Peoria area either - I can connect you from any city to any city. Referrals are the best - so it can be a family, friend or co-worker moving anywhere in the world, to anywhere in the world.
I have access through a world-wide network of Realtors® that are vetted, experienced and professional. My contacts are with established real estate firms with an uncommon commitment to service and integrity. My network spans over 55 countries and includes more than 120,000 real estate professionals that sell more properties all over the world.
With my questionnaire that we fill out together, I research the best companies and the best agents that fit the profile and qualities you are looking for in your next Real Estate Broker. I interview the candidates personally and then present you my recommendations as to who I feel would be your best match. Once you have selected the company and agent, I schedule two meetings - the first one I let the agent know more about you and what you are looking for so that he or she can have some time to prepare for the much more important meeting - and that is with you. I introduce everyone and walk us all through what to expect and set up that communication goals and expectations so that your next home buying experience is smooth and professional.
Now, you're wondering how I get paid, and I want to be very transparent as that is an important question. The funny part is - I won't cost you anything more*. When we begin our relationship, I will have a form for you to fill out that authorizes me to be your referral agent and that wherever, whenever and whatever you decide to purchase, Julie Russell, a broker with Gallery|Homes will be entitled to a referral fee from the other real estate company that I refer you to. It will not cost you more, it will come from the commission already established when the home was listed. This won't be a surprise to the agent in the other city/town - I only work with those agents that are welcoming to work with clients that are relocating. Those terms are all in writing with them, and I can provide a copy to you if you would like. The only thing I add to that asterisk* above is if you do not buy a home, perhaps you decide to rent or wait more than a year after we sign that referral agreement, I ask that you pay me $250 for my time.
